Hangzhou Changhe Generating Equipment Co., Ltd. which is located in Hangzhou National High-new Economical and Technical Industry Development Zone, is a private corporation. It was established in 1985, formerly known as Changhe Branch Factory of Hangzhou Generating Equipment Company. With the expansion of its business, it became a cooperative enterprise of Kvaerner Generating Equipment Corporation, which is now famous as American GE Company. In 2001, it was named as Hangzhou Changhe Generating Equipment Co., Ltd. The total number of staff members in our company is about 218, including 38 technical and managerial professionals. We have developed an integrated organizational system for the products in in-house design, manufacture, quality control and after-sales services.

The strong points of our products are water turbine generator sets with the installed capacity ranging from 1MW to 50MW;Francis flow generator sets with high head & rotational speed and axial flow generator sets with low head & rotational speed. We also manufacture complete sets of equipment, such as valves, governors (including PLC microcomputer governors), excitations (including PLC micro-computer excitation), and automations ,all of which can make the generator sets work in harmony. The reconstruction and alteration of old hydropower stations is also our strength. Changhe boasts more than 20 years' experience and techniques in this field, providing the service of technical renewal, capacity-enlarged and reconstruction.
